free movie pass from GSC..

hello... here's a free movie pass from GSC! i got it because my birthday is in january. if you become an online GSC member, you're eligible for one free movie during the month of your birthday. all you have to do is print the birthday voucher and present it at any GSC counters. you have to show your id as well as proof. only movies with '*' are valid for the offer. so, i chose the movie season of the witch. at first, i thought it was about magic and witchcrafts. turned out, i was wrong.

overall, i like the movie. i plan to watch 'khurafat' soon. maybe this wednesday because it's cheap. erm, what else... ooh, today at work, something rare happened. our system went offline for about 3 hours. we couldn't do anything. so, all the poor people that came today had to wait quite a long time for the system to be okay. a few went back but most of them stay and waited.

and during thaipusam last week, we had a bowling tournament. and unexpectedly, i got 4th place among the women. and my score wasn't that good. it just that, all the women were equally matched. hehe, but the top 3 were good. their points differ lots from us. i love bowling but i'm just not good at it. it doesn't matter, how may times i play, i'm inconsistent. i could be good sometimes and i could be bad some other times. during the 'good times' or should i say during my lucky hours, i manage to get 100 for a frame. during my 'bad times', i was lucky to get 40 per frame, hehe...

oh, i'm not sure i mentioned this before, i really want to go to phuket this year. everytime i got email from airasia with special offer, i usually calculate the price for return flights and 3 days 2 nights accomodation. and the lowest price i got is RM232. booking is for 16 april 2011 until sometime in october (can't remember). and the booking period is until 31st january only. wargh, really want to make the booking but couldn't plan the holiday that far. and furthermore, i don't know whom to invite along. actually, i have quite a few people in mind, but couldn't be sure the those people can taa along (ehem2, anyone felt the aura of my invitation?) wargh, i want to go to phuket, iskh iskh... please let my wish become reality....

an evening in paris...

hello there... actually i planned to post everyday this year but it i couldn't. hehe, no time. i found this old cd the last time i went back to 'kampung' so, i just want to post this picture taken while i was still a student in germany. during this time, we went to paris and stayed with our friends, amy. thank god, we have her and her other friend, syaz to guide us around paris for the language spoken is mostly french. the french didn't speak english much. and honestly, they treat us better when we spoke in malay. seem they didn't like the english much. so, we have a splendid time. we went to disneyland, to notre dame, to eiffel tower (naturally) and much more. so, this is a picture of me with eiffel tower at the back. during my 'student day' back then, i travelled quite a lot. got the time and most importantly the money, hehe... now, it quite hard to find time and again most importantly money. hope, i can travel again. think i need a vacation badly. sometimes, i felt so suffocated, i feel that i need to go somewhere so that i can breathe freely once again. my plan is to go to thailand as soon as i can. hope, that it will be sooooon.... =)

friendship is the most precious ship of all...

this is the picture of me and two of my bestfriends. they are siti norhawa or known as awed and A. i think i've mentioned before that during my secondary school years at tuanku jaafar science school (stj), i was know as 'makcik' or auntie because i love to nag like one. i have known these two nice people for sixteen years. from when we were 13 years old and now we are 29 years old. we didn't immediately 'clicked' with one another because we were in different classes. we known each other but we are not closed.  our friendship blossomed during our third year at school or during form 3. i was in the same class as awed, 3 curie. A was in 3 bohr. our classes were next to each other. awed was sitting in front of me. we started talking and find that we have so much in common. after that, it was history, hehe.. awed was already befriended A and through her, i got closed to A. during the 4th year, we were all in the same class 4 bohr and continued being in the same class during form 5, 5 einstein. we kept in touch until now and all of our friends know that we are 'the three stooges.' we may lose track of our other friends' update but we never lose track of one another. it's not that, we talked, smsed, emailed everyday. just enough for us to remain in touch.

so, we gathered last year for our friend's wedding and bought this cake to celebrate of 16th year of friendships. actually, we just want to eat sponge cake. it's quite weird to eat this sort of cake without celebrating anything. so, we make is as our friendships anniversary. to think that we have been friends for sixteen years is quite amazing. we may have our disagreement for no good friendships doesn't endure a few bad things along the way. but we usually say it, we fight, we make up. and of i think carefully, there was no any serious big fight among us. thank Allah for that. we shared the interest of reading. we watched the same kind of movies, and we detests the same kind as well, hehe... but, we still have very different characteristis. that's what made friendships unique and priceless. the ability for us to accept each other as we are with all the good stuffs and the bad stuffs as well. and, i really hope and i pray that our friednships will last for eternity. great friends are quite to find. so, we must cherish and be thankful for the great friendships we had.
