[BOOK] Arthur Spiderwick

I must study for my final exam this end of the month. but, my mind couldn't seem to focus to the subjects in hand. so, one of the distraction is storybook or should i say books because there are a lot of them. the funny thing is, even a children book can take my mind away from my studying. it all began when i stayed at my brother's house for the weekend. i saw these books that belonged to one of my nephews. the truth is, i gave the set of books to him as a gift. i haven't got the chance to read them first for i asked the shop girl to wrap it for me.

while waiting for my brother and his family(they went to a party)to send me home, i read one of them. the set got five books altogether. there are the Spiderwick Chronicles written by Holly Black and illustrated by Tony DiTerlizzi:
  • The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Field Guide
  • The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Seeing Stone
  • The Spiderwick Chronicles: Lucinda's Secret
  • The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Ironwood Tree
  • The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Wrath of Mulgarath

without realizing it, i finished reading two of them and then my brother arrived. so, i've asked my nephew's permission to borrow them. he said okay and i've completed reading all five of them today. well, the storyline is quite good. and since the books targetted young readers, the words used are simple and easy to understand. they even planning on making a movie based on the novels. if you want more information on these series, you can check the Wikipedia Site for Spiderwick.

DKNY- Red Delicious

What I really want right now is Red Delicious by DKNY. It smells so nice and fruity; Champagne Accord, Lychee, Red Raspberry, Apple, Rose, Vanilla Bean, Patchouli, Amber, Sensual Skin Accord, Raspberry. I always love fruity type of perfume. In fact, right now, I'm using Sunset Heat by Escada. It possesses a blend of Top notes of papaya, lemon, mango sherbet, and pineapple mousse. Middle notes of icy watermelon, peach, lotus flower, and hibiscus. But I have to finish my Sunset Heat first before I can buy the Red Delicious. Hmmm, it seems like I'm going to marinate myself with Sunset Heat in order to finish it quickly!
