A N N O Y E D ! ! !

there's some sort of tradition, well not really tradition, but something most people in my organization do that got me annoyed sometimes. and that's to greet a person by asking, 'are you okay? (RUOK?)' instead of the more familiar, 'how do you do?' which is kind of annoying anyway when asked by 10 persons in the time interval of 15 minutes.

imagine this, you come to work early all happy and cheery and the first question you got is  RUOK? can't you detect my jolly aura? but it's still fine and you answer, i'm ok. the next three person you meet later, asking you the same question RUOK? over and over again. for me personally, from my happy mood, i'll change into my hulk mood in a flash of time.

honestly, it's annoying and that's when you in a good mood! next scenario, you come to the office in the mood to kill someone and the first greeting is again RUOK?, asked in a cheery voice with no awareness or whatsoever to your bad mood. if murder is allowed, that person would be dead killed by me! the intonation of RUOK? plays a great and important role to make it sound sincere or insincere (just a common greeting).

i rather got greeted by these instead of RUOK?:
  • a simple HI or HELLO!
  • how are you?
  • have you eaten?
  • what a nice weather..
  • etc.. etc.. etc..
so, whoever read this entry please avoid asking/greeting me by RUOK? thank you very much for your consideration.

mad day

ooo, i do think about the consequences. it's just that i don't care!!!
Have you ever experienced a ‘Mad Day?’ it’s not mad crazy, it’s mad angry… well, you could be considered crazy as well if you stay angry the whole day… you’re angry with no apparent reason. It’s just, on that day, you are angry about everything! You woke up, and the angry feeling just there. You’re angry at your phone just because it rang to wake you up. Then you’re angry because you knew you would be late that day. While driving to the office, you’re angry at the driver in front of you for driving well, within the speed limit. You knew that it wasn’t that driver’s fault, but you just want to blame other person for your own mistake. And you are usually not this type of person.

And at work, you colleagues ask you something simple and you felt threatened. Your boss gave you a very good advice to improve your work nicely, and you think he’s being annoying. You are just angry at everyone and everything. You want to yell at them and tell them to mind their own business and leave you alone in peace. All your thoughts this day would be negative and just plain evil. You want to call your gentle friend, a miss goody two shoes,  call the other friend fat as a hippo, call your boss an idiot who thinks he knows everything and so on… you know you’re in the wrong but you just don’t care as long as it gave you pure satisfaction.

You went home and get some rest and a good night sleep. The next morning you woke up, you are back to be the normal you and you regret all your thoughts and actions the previous day. But, you know that you will still be having the ‘mad day’ again but you don’t know when. You knew that this kind of day is usually related to your stress level. You want to avoid it but you could not. You will experience it again and again, and all the while wondering are you insane…

ps: i knew that i owe a lot of entries.. i'll try to write it as soon as i can. right now, i still haven't got a good internet connection. just using my phone data. that's why i have to limit the things i do online.. hope you guys understand.. v(^_^)v
