[SONG] kru ~ tiga kata

Yeah.. lagu ni ditujukan kepada mereka yang sudah lupa erti cinta
Hanya 3 kata sahaja
cukup besar maksudnya

Wo ai ni
I love you
Aku cinta padamu
Tiga kata paling bermakna
Tapi jarangnya didengar
Naan unnai kathalikaraen
Saranghaeyo
Aishiteru
Tiga kata paling menyentuh
Tapi jarangnya disebut

Mungkinkah kerna kita dah terlalu selesa
Keintiman seolah semakin hambar
Dari gerak gaya
Hingga ke tutur kata
Tak menggambarkan cinta

(chorus)
Wo ai ni
I love you
Aku cinta padamu
Tiga kata paling bermakna
Tapi jarangnya didengar

Naan unnai kathalikaraen
Saranghaeyo
Aishiteru
Tiga kata paling menyentuh
Tapi jarangnya disebut
Katakan ci..cinta ci..cinta kamu
Katakan ci..cinta ci..cinta
Walaupun kita saling
Sayang satu sama lain
Tapi kenapa sukar meluahkan rasa

Berikan mereka tahu
Andainya hari esok
Di takdirkan berpisah

Dalam kesibukan
Kita seringkali mula hilang kemesraaan
Dengan mereka disisi
Tak rasa bersyukur
Tak rasa berbangga
Mempunyai bahu setia untuk kita bersandar

Pejamkan matamu
Lihat lah di hatiku
Semua kasih terhimpun,
Dibiarkan terkurung
Jadi keluarkan
Sekarang luahkan

(chorus)

Katakan ci..cinta ci..cinta kamu
Katakan ci..cinta ci..cinta (aku cinta padamu)

Wo aini..i love you

my latest obsession...

dear bloggie,

here is my latest obsession. i feel like a kid getting the thing she wanted on christmas (just a metaphor, i never celebrated christmas, hehe!). i've been watching it from the day the sale began. everytime, i went there, i would try it on but then put it back. the reason: waiting for the time when i had enough money to buy it! and, voila! after i received the bonus government gave us, the public servant, i hurried to the store (nose store at alamanda to be exact), and bought THE SHOES!!! it is the highest shoes i have yet. about 3 inches. and i kept wearing it in the house, haha.. just like before, when i was a child and just bought new pair of shoes for raya. btw, here's the pictures of THE SHOES!

meteor shower

view from top of the hill
last tuesday, A informed me that there will be meteor showers happening starting from 9 august till 13 august. so, we planned to have a picnic at the top of precint 11 hill. it's the only place i can think about. i picked A up on about 9pm. we bought food for 'sahur'(eventhough i'm not fasting yet). after that, we surveyed the place or location. just after i parked my car, a security guard came and asked us what were we doing there quite late at night. the hill is also a place for jogging. we just told him that we were just admiring the view while taking some photograps. he still insist that we shouldn't be there and warned us af the danger that could happen including warning us that there we even phython there. we just brushed it off(not in arrogant sorf of way, a nice kind of brushing off) and said that we would be fine. tired of our stubborness, he rode away (he's riding a motorcycle). after satisfied by the spot chosen, we went back to my sister house and get some sleep.

we woke up the next morning at about 4am. i even borrowed my sister's picnic mat. we brought our foods, drinks and camera. alhamdulliah, it wasn't raining anymore. last night, when we surveyed the place, it was drizzling. so, we spread the mat and prepared our 'sahur.' all done, we were about to lay down and looking at the clear sky, a group of people came. at first i thought it was the park worker coming to work early. but it turned out to be a group of policemen. they asked the same question as the security guard before. so, we told them the same answer. they were not easily 'removed' as the security guard, so me and A start babbling about scientific facts so that they'll be bored by our conversation and just would just move away. our tactic worked successfully, hehe...

so, with no more disturbance, we lay down and started to watch the sky. at first, we just saw a few stars. we tried to identify them and the only star that we could identify is the north star (easy, 'cos it's the brightest) and the orion (again easy, 'cos they are 3 in rows). so, to keep ourselves from not falling asleep, we talked and talked on different topic. so, suddenly one of the topic steered us to patriotic songs. we sang a few a them out loud, hoping that nobody would heard us. then, out of the sudden 'cheeeewww', we saw one meteor. we clapped happily. btw, i'm quite certain that the meteor shower doesn't made sound such as 'cheeewww'.it's just my expression. so, we waited and waited and we saw another one. hooray! we were quite satisfied. at least our picnic early in the morning is fruitful. then, A saw one that i didn't. later, i saw one that A didn't. so total meteor we saw that night is four altogether. and we planned to do it again this friday a.k.a saturday morning. hoping to see more this time!

my wish(es)...

just wanna list my some of my wishes:
  • i wish i could play bigger part in helping all the unfortunate ppl (especially children) aroun the world. when i saw clips or read news about their misfortune, i really really really wish that i could help. i want to be like mother theresa, devoting her life for the unfortunates.
  • i wish i was pretty damn rich. yeah, there's saying that money can't buy happiness but for me honestly it can if it is spend the right way. other than fulfilling own needs, why don't try spending it on others who really need it (see above).
  • i wish i was a better person, meaning stop complaining about small matters. try to imagine one in tougher situation than usually are. have to realize that really am lucky and fortunate to have the luxury of basic needs such as shelters and foods.  really need to learn to become more grateful especially in this holy fasting month. we only fast for half a day, while others have nothing to eat for more than several days.
so, if your wish are a bit like mine, even a bit, why don't we take some actions that we could by contributing for organizations like unicef and worldvision. thank you for your supports!

pheeww, what a day!

the cake chosen (only it will be rectangle insted of round)

today is the 4th day of ramadhan. but i'm on my 'break' for breakfasting beginnig yesterday, hehe... ok, today right after work, i rushed to alamanda because my sister had asked me for a favor. she wanted me to book a cake for her daughter a.k.a my niece birthday this sunday. actually, my niece's birthday is on the 8th of august (monday). but since, they wanto to invite people over, it would be much more convenient to do it on sunday instead of monday. so, my sister asked me to book an ice cream cake from baskin robbins. i looked at the catalogue, i asked questions, i compared prices and all other things people normally do before making  a purchase. the sales assisstant was very helpful. so affetr a few calls and negotiation, i've finally made up my mind on which cake i want to buy. i was ready to pay, but only then i realized that i left my wallet at the office.

i apologized to the boy (sales assisstant) explaining the situation to him, luckily he understand. i made a quick call to my boss (he's the one holding the office's keys), hoping he was still at the office. since it's ramadhan, people uusually went back earlier than usual. again, alhamdulillah, he was still at the offiice and my wallt was there, where i left it. he asked me to meet him at 'pasar ramadhan'. i said ok and hung up. then, i realized another small problem, how would i pay for the parking ticket! i have no money with me! another solution strucked my by, the coins that i have in my car. i paid my ticket (RM1) and went to get my wallet from my boss. i went back to alamanda and finally paid for the cake.

trip to bukittinggi indonesia

view as we were about to land (nice sun)
starting from friday last week until tuesday this week, i was in indonesia. i went there with my parents, uncle and aunts. my brother send us to lcct. our flight to padang is 7am, but we were there early, about 5.40am. we don't want to be late since both of my sisters told us from experienced, it will be crowded. we departed from lcct, not from klia. we checked in and alhamdulillah, everything went on smoothly. after checked in, we went for subuh prayers. the prayer room was a little bit crowded. after that, we had some light breakfast. the flight was as scheduled and we arrived as scheduled as well. it was a smooth flight. my seat, as usual is by the window and by the wings. i love to sit at the wings 'cos i love to see it flaps, hehe.. some might say that i love to see at the wings, so that i'm among the first to realize malfunction at the wings.

car broke down (from left : putri's dad, my dad & handsome stranger =p)
at the airport, we went through the immigration. it took quite sometimes because only two counters were available and honestly i was impressed by their system. they took all of aur fingerprints and our picture. we didn't done that in malaysia (i think). putri (my sister maid's) was already there waiting with her father. we planned to check in at the hotel first (parai hotel) and after that went to visit putri's house. unfortunately, our rental car broke time a few times and it made the journey longer. one time, we even met another person with his car broke down as well (may i mention that he's quite good looking, hoho..). the journey from the airport (the indonesians called aiport as 'bandara' as 'bandar udara' which translated into 'air city') to our hotel is about 90km but it took almost 5 hours. the road there was also small and winding (since it climbing hills).

from left : mak ijat, ririn (putri's sis), mak yah, my mom, putri and her brother, aziz
we checked in our hotel and went to putri's house. from our hotel to putri's house is only 6km by again because of the road condition, it took 15 minutes. the first thing i bought is a local prepaid for easy communication. putri's family welcome us with open arms and greeted us warmly. her mom had already prepared quite a grand meals for us (we actually had lunch while waiting for the car to get fixed). we considered the meals as our dinner. putri's the eldest and she have 2 younger sisters and 1 brother (the youngest). her house is very small and consist only 1 living room adn 1 bedroom. toilet and kitchen are outside. made me felt guilty for taking the luxury i had for granted. yup, compared to them, our middle class homes are a luxury. but they do have electrical gadgets such as tv and fridge. after meals, putri and her siblings took us around her village and i truly felt at village. there were paddy fields, kids palting kites and many more that are significant to village. after touring the village, putri's sister's boyfriend sent us back to the hotel and we rest for tomorrow began our journey as tourists, hehe...

self taken pic in front of 'istana pagar ruyung'
on our second day, we went to see istana pagar ruyung for padang is famous for its minangkabau. and minangkabau (negeri sembilan) in malaysia originated from padang as well. unfortunately, the castle was strucked by lightning in 2007 and they still recimstructing it and we could only see the outside. they sold alot of 'sawo' or 'ciku' in malay. along the way, we saw a lot of 'ciku' trees. they were sweet. we also bought a few souvniers. and if i'm not mistaken, the journey from our hotel to the castle took also 2 hours. there's no highway or big roads here. they have only small and winding roads. and they also honked quite a lot. at first, we were quite shocked to see the frequency of the honking, hehe.. next, we have dinner at 'danau singkarak' or singkarak lake. the lake is very big. we also stopped to buy some salted fish for they were fresh and cheap. then, we went to the city (famous for its 'jam gadang') adn shop a little more. that night, putri and her family will be staying with us at the hotel. so, we bought some fried chicken and other foods. i also bought some 'bunga api' but it were not good, 'masuk angin'.

we crossed the equator
the next day, we went to the equator. at the 'equator' there's also a museum called 'imam bonjol museum.' imam bonjol is one of the brave people that fought for indonesia's independence. after taking photos, buying souveniers and visiting the museum, we went back to bukittinggi. this time, we entered the zoo. putri and i went through all of the exhibits, but the elders (huhu, elders..), only went to some and they have to wait for us. for the next day, we were on our own. putri and her family were busy making preparation for small 'kenduri kesyukuran.' the first thing we visit is the market called 'aur kunin' for another shopping spree. me and my mom were quite done with our shopping, so we just wait for my two aunts to get their shopping done. shopping done, we went to the historical part of bukittinggi known as 'lubang jepang' or 'japanese tunnel.' it was very interesting knowing all the history behind the tunnelm construction (we have a tour guide to explain everything to us). the tunnel was undone since japan lost the WWII. but the research they did to build the tunnel (at that time, with old technology etc) was marvellous and unbelievable. after finishing our visit, we again went to putri's house for the 'kenduri.'

another self taken pic in front of the waterfall
so, the last day finally came. our group went first to the airport since we wanted to make a few stops a long the way. we stoped at the beautiful waterfall. it was breathtaking, subhnallah. we also had lunch before heading to the airport. we waited for putri and her family. we said our thanks and goodbye. putri was very sad leaving her family and also only days from ramadhan. our flight home was again smooth and on scheduled. my brother was already waiting and we went home. i had such a nice time there and my 5 days there flew by just like that. if i fave the time and money, i would love to have another holiday just like this but perhaps to another country. the countries i had in mind are thailand and cambodia, hehe... insyaAllah, one day i will...
