[SONG] Exile ~ We Will (Ano Basho De)

Kotoba to ai ja mou tarinai
Words and love are not enough anymore
Juwaki kara kasureteru koe
A hoarse voice from the receiver
Tsutaetai tsutaenakya kurushikute
I have to tell you I'm in pain
Hitogomi wo surinuketa
I slipped through the crowd

Fuan wo kotae ni kaete shimau
It turns anxiety into the answer
Kimi no warui kuse dakara
Because it's your bad habit
Taisetsu na nanika ushinawanu you ni
Do not lose something important
Katachi ni wa tayoranaide...
Do not rely on appearances ...

* Donna ni hanaretemo sono namida wo nagasasenu you ni
Do not let that tear flow away no matter how far away we are
Chiisana sono karada ga furuete shimawanu you ni
Like a small body that does not tremble
Itsu demo soba ni iru umi no you na hiroi kokoro de
With huge heart like the sea that is always on your side
Kimi dake mamoritakute kyou made aruite kita
I only wanted to protect you, I came walking to this day

Aitai kimochi osaekirezu
I can not suppress feelings to meet you
Nemurenai yoru wo sugoshita
I had a sleepless night
Ano basho de futari chikatta towa ni
Both of us sworn our eternal love at that place
Kotoba nado iranai kara...
Because I do not need words...

Kanashimi furitsuzuku sonna toki mo waratte iyou
Let's keep smiling even in such a sad time
Ii koto bakari ja nai sore yori mo shinjite iyou
It's not only good but I believe it more than that
Atarashii kyou no tame bokura wa ima tashikameau
Because of today's new day we will confront you now
Nagashita namida no kazu ga bokura wo tsuyoku suru yo
The number of tears I shed makes us strong

* repeat

Kyou made aruite kita
I came walking to this day

ps: i'm in love with another exile song.. this song is not new actually but i just heard it recently from my spotify exile extreme best playlist.. this song came out  around 2007 if i'm not mistaken and sung by shun at the time (with atsushi of course).. i got the lyrics from jpopasia and translation is directly from google, so you would understand the weird meaning, huhu..

Destination: Pontianak (25 - 29 May 2016)

25/05/2016 - 29/05/2016 (wed - sun)

this entry on pontianak trip will seriously be very drift and unhelpful as well if you have the intention to use it as a guide for your trip. furthermore, this entry is written three months later. my poor brain is incapable to remember the trip well. i'm a little bit like dory, suffering from short term memory loss, though mine is not that severe. our tour guide is non other than my sister, kak ala's maid, as. maybe i've mentioned somewhere before that my family treated the maids as family especially when we're not their direct bosses, hehe..

so on the first day, as picked us up at the airport (she already chartered a van). we had lunch and went direct to her house. she rented the house but the tenant still left her room for as. once as was done with her packing (she's staying with us at the hotel because there was a shortage of clean water at the area. it seems that this is a problem in remote area, pontianak. they have to store rain waters to get clean supply. otherwise, they depend on the drain<~ big one, water source actually comes from nearby river.) on the way to the hotel, my dad bought a few baby pineapples (pineapple is his favourite fruit). they were cheap and sweet. we checked in and had dinner at the nearby mall (the mall is my favourite place to go, haha.. i went there almost everyday whenever i got the chance!)

departure

as' house
the hotel

THE MALL - ayani megamall, hehe..
on the second day, we started early. as made a change to our van driver. the new one is really friendly and very talkative. the first driver, rudy was a little bit shy, the opposite to the second driver, joko. our first stop of the day was keraton kadriah. when we arrived, it was stiil early and the place wasn't opened yet. when as went down to confirm it, there's a notice saying that prior appointment must be made if we want to visit it. as confessed she didn't knew about it since it has been a long time she visited it. we moved to our next destination, the equator monument. again, we had to wait a while for it to be opened. the monument is interesting with a history of its own. we also bought a few souvenirs here.
i'm not good at taking pictures, huhu..
i seriously can't remember how long was the trip from the hotel to these locations. maybe around  1-2 hours. then, we went to drink aloe vera. the aloe business is quite famous here. the people in pontianak really have sweet tongues! they really really like sweetness. their drinks is very very sweet. we all had to order plain water to lessen the sweetness and the aloe vera drink is not excluded. we also ate grilled corns which were delicious! we then stopped for lunch somewhere (memory loss, haha..) and visited makam kesultanan batu layang. then, we headed back to the city and had our boat ride at Kapuas River. we called it a day after that. along the way, we actually visited a few of as' relatives.

on our third day, we picked as' daughter at the airport. the real reason we went to pontianak was to mend the relationship between as and her daughter. they had some issues and let's just say we failed the mission, haha.. both of them were stubborn. but starting from this day, as' daughter tagged along. we went all the way to pasir panjang (trip maybe  3- 4 hrs). we also stopped at dayak house (bad luck again, closed due to renovation). we did our souvenir shopping again at pattimura street. and we went back on the fifth day. see  how very unhelpful my pontianak entry. so, i would recommend you to go this BLOG instead for guidance, hehe..

pasir panjang beach and late night ferry ride

our last day
ps: i still owe two entries on the manila and brunei trips.. prepare yourself for another 'memory loss' entry like this one , haha..

adik's bachelorette party!!!

Future Bride's Name : Nurul Hafiza @ Adik
From : Negeri Sembilan
Wedding Date : 24/12/2016

Bridesmaid 1 (R) : Nurhayati @ Cik Puan Yati
From : Pulau Pinang

Bridesmaid 2 (L) : Syaheema @ Sye2 (Me!)
From : Johor

Party's Location : Lexis, Port Dickson
Date : 02/10/2016 (Saturday)
Participants : Just the 3 of us!

yati and i planned this party exactly 24 hrs before it took place through whatsapp! my selfies from the previous entry was taken when we want to choose the right scarves for the the bridesmaids. we already chosen one with the veil for adik. the reservation for the hotel was made maybe three weeks before (in order to get a cheap price, of course!) i baked a chocolate cake and yati decorated it.

the two of us arrived about 2 hours earlier before adik so that we could decorate the room. unfortunately, we could only checked in 30 minutes before adik's estimate time of arrival. we  did the decorating as fast as we could ad we even tried to stall adik by giving her our room number late when she asked for it. we even let her stand in front of the door for 5 minutes to finish our work!!!

she was very touched with what we did and even cried! being women, both yati and i cried as well. we took pictures and ate the cake before continuing with our outdoor activities. we went to the beach and rode on a boat which got all of us totally wet! we had dinner at the beach and went back to the hotel to freshen up before moving to our next agenda of the day, karaoke!!! we called it a day or night and went our separate ways the next day!

the 'party' was quite a success in my opinion because we successfully surprised adik! eventhough we didn't do a lot of activity, the time we spent together was priceless. our little gang is known as FYS for obvious reason. i knew these two splendid girls when i was working and the foreign worker department in HQ. eventhough, we've only known each other for around three years (adik and yati known each other for a much longer period actually, i just infiltrated into the circle), our bond is very strong! i'll updating on adik's wedding later...

INSIDE OUR HOTEL ROOM

aren't we all sweet?

bullying the future bride by feeding her extra calories

here we go, said adik

smile for the camera, gals!

please notice our scarves, hehe..

yup, it's too late to run.. i'm still single.. and we're bff..

AT THE BEACH

dry pose, before the wet ones

we didn't go for a banana boat ride, we just posed on it..

trying to get dry faster with the scarecrow pose

this one is my favourite picture, we all just laugh our hearts out!

phone games i'm addicted to!!!

okay, the entry on pontianak has to wait! it seems that writing an entry on a casual blog does require the right mood, haha.. no wonder there's a term writer's block and i'm not even a writer, just a blogger with no readers whatsoever! i'm just writing for fun. since i felt guilty for leaving this blog untouched for quite some time, i'm going to write a free topic entry as entitled above.

since the era of mobile phones, long before the currently trending smartphones, it is always equipped with games. the first phone i had (nokia 6110; you could read my history of phone here), had the famous snake game. i suck at that, so i preferred the memory game. the high score of the memory game would be mine and the high score of the snake game would be my friend's, huhu..

new generations would look at this as it was so ancient

my favourite game during nokia era
so, with the smartphones technology, you could download any games you want as your phone memory space allowed. all the games i downloaded would be the free one. oh, i paid for three games actually; scrabble, uno and monopoly. i rarely played those games now but my niblings still love playing uno. i still play scrabble from time to time but i unfortunately uninstalled monopoly (i found that it took a long to finish one round and i am usually the loser, haha!!)

bubye dear monopoly...

niblings' favourite

i always use the 'teacher'
and then there were the era of angry birds (not addicted to, installed in phone just for the young ones plus bad at estimating the force and distance - uninstalled) and candy crush (following the mainstream, whenever stuck at certain level, would ask friends to pass it - uninstalled due to the hard to pass level, even master friends couldn't do it).

i just love those chocolate balls!!!

only good at the first few levels, huhu..
now, i play pokemon go! (duh!), gardenscapes, 1010 and township. ooo, i hate strategy game because i am no sun tzu. furthermore, you have to liaise with other players. i love to play solo, hehe.. when first played pokemon go, i would open the app all the time to catch the pokemons and to hatch the eggs. but since, i kept on capturing the same pokemon, i got bored and rarely open the app now. 1010 is sort like modernized tetris and gardenscapes is the same concept as candy crush with a little twist, you get to do some landscaping. i also love piano tiles 2 and i think i'm quite good at it as well, hehe..

currently, i'm addicted to township. i played a game like this once before i uninstalled it (time consuming, got bored) called paradise bay. i don't know how long this addiction will last but probably not long enough. i'm the type of person that got bored easily, haha..other games that are currently in my phone are neko atsume (collected all cats already, still need just one memento form bengal jack), one clue crossword (i use cheat all the times), cute vs evil, minion rush (stucked at level 100: near-miss obstacle 14 times - current best: 10), subway surf (for alif's and syariq's use only), hidden city: mystery of shadows and fishing hook (officemate influenced).

i love this sort of game

trying to beat my own best score

planning a town is fun (in virtual world, real life would be a horror!)

still haven't caught pikachu, only lots of rattata and pidgey..

S T R E S S

i've lost count how many of my entries are dedicated to this S T R E S S matter, huhu.. i've been accumulating stress since i learned the word! here are a few thing i am currently stressed about:
  1. money matter: i couldn't apply loan for my study.. so, i've to plan my budget properly.. no more buying books, clothes or anything at all.. i have no one else to blame but myself for this problem.
  2. career matter: i think i've mentioned several times before that i hate my current job. so, i want to apply other jobs that more to my preference. but my parents, well made that everybody (i just love to exaggerate) are against it.
  3. education matter: i think i have wasted my money for my degree since it doesn't help me improve my life AT ALL! furthering my study are really a waste of time and money and yet here i am again pursuing my master with again another false and stupid hope that it will benefit me in the future.
  4. friends matter: currently at home, i don't have any friends to socialize after office hour. all of them are married and of course dedicate their time and attention to their family. the only time i could socialize is when i go to putrajaya.
  5. computer matter: everytime windows updated,i would encounter network problem. when i search the web, it seems that asus have this network adapter problem with windows 10. i tried to follow some of the actions given to resolve this problem but it didn't work. so, what i do is restore my computer to the point before the update. but, i couldn't do it all the time. i need to bring my computer for repair the next time i go to putrajaya.
i know my problems are nothing compared to other bigger problems others might face. but, by listing it down to be seen, it helped to decrease the burden a little bit. sorry for all the whining i did. hope, everything will change for the better soon, insyaAllah...

ps: i owe u guys a lot of entries, huhu..

My priceless conversation with Siri..

[Bright Side] 25 surprising psychology facts that will help you better understand yourself and others

Learning something new about yourself is always interesting and entertaining. And understanding the psychology behind the way we behave, treat others, and express ourselves can be even more appealing.

Today, we here at Bright Side have compiled a list of the most surprising psychology facts that can help you better understand yourself and others.
  1. Any friendship that was born in the period between 16 and 28 years of age is more likely to be robust and long lasting.
  2. Women generally prefer men with deep husky voices because they seem more confident and not aggressive.
  3. The people who give the best advice are usually the ones with the most problems.
  4. The smarter the person is, the faster he thinks, and the sloppier his handwriting is.
  5. Our emotions don’t affect the way we communicate. In fact, the very opposite is true: the way we communicate has an influence on our mood.
  6. The way a person treats restaurant staff reveals a lot about their character.
  7. People who have a strong sense of guilt are better at understanding other people’s thoughts and feelings.
  8. Men are not funnier than women: they just make more jokes, not caring whether other people like their humor or not.
  9. Shy people talk little about themselves, but they do this in a way that makes other people feel that they know them very well.
  10. Women have twice as many pain receptors on their bodies than men, but they have a much higher pain tolerance.
  11. Listening to high-frequency music makes you feel calm, relaxed, and happy.
  12. If you can’t stop your stream of thoughts at night, get up and write them down. This will set your mind at ease so you can sleep.
  13. Good morning and good night text messages activate the part of the brain responsible for happiness.
  14. Doing things that scare you will make you happier.
  15. The average amount of time a woman can keep a secret is 47 hours and 15 minutes.
  16. People who try to keep everyone happy often end up feeling the loneliest.
  17. The happier we are, the less sleep we require.
  18. When you hold the hand of a loved one, you feel pain less keenly and worry less.
  19. Intelligent people tend to have less friends than the average person. The smarter the person is, the more selective they become.
  20. Marrying your best friend eliminates the risk of divorce by over 70%, and this marriage is more likely to last a lifetime.
  21. Women who have mostly male friends stay in a good mood more often.
  22. People who speak two languages may unconsciously shift their personalities when they switch from one language to another.
  23. Being alone for a long time is as bad for your health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
  24. Travel boosts brain health and also decreases a person’s risk of heart attack and depression.
  25. People look more attractive when they speak about the things they are really interested in.

me in uniform

i'm an immigration officer actually (if u guys never knew before). and truth be told, i hate seeing myself in uniform. i think i looked terrible, haha.. some people say that wearing uniform may made you look more attractive. i think the saying would apply to uniforms such as pilot, flight attendance, navy and even some hotel employee. i just don't think it would apply to immigration officer (made that malaysian immigration officer) such as me. anyway, here are a few pictures of me in uniform. our latest uniform is all black (with grey hijab for the muslim women) and before that it used to be white shirt and dark blue pants (with dark blue hijab).

both my sister and i worked at immigration, but my sister is not an immigration officer. she worked in finance and sometimes wear the uniform for special occasions. this one was when we both received the excellent employee award,

this was actually for the officer that work at the airport, but sometimes i just wear it for the variety. wearing the same uniform everyday can be boring, i assured you that!

this is our latest uniform, we started wearing it around 2012 or maybe 2013, huhu..

addiction, temptation, therapy

here's the thing.. i rarely, ooh, made that NEVER came out of the RM2 (eco) shop empty handed.. even when my original plan was to buy one particular thing (one only) but the thing wasn't there, i will always, always find another thing to buy.. and it is often more than one thing.. i just had to buy a whole lots just because it's cheap! same goes with the RM5 shops (daiso, komonoya) and it extends to discounted things especially when it is more than 50%! damn the marketing strategy, it always get me! this 'shopping temptation' wasn't mine to resist, haha..

what i really want to buy,

this tag usually cost RM7.90 at normal shops, but here it costs only RM2.12..
(it was sold out by the way)

what i end up buying...

like i mentioned above, i didn't came out empty handed, huhu..
(it all cost only RM2.12 each!)
