Things You Needn't Stop Doing

here's a list of things you needn't stop doing eventhough you have reached your 'prime' and left behind your adolescenthood, courtesy of cosmo magazine actually (i checked mine ~ activities i still did till now):

1. sing out loud in car with your besties! [X] ~ i even sang alone..
2. watch cartoon movies as soon as it hits cinema [X]
3. use your state dialect when hanging out with friends from the same state [X] ~ since i'm johorian, it's not much of a dialect. perhaps some words and its pronounciation..
4. driving around without any absolute destination while listening to john mayer, imagining he has a thing for you [X] ~ please change john mayer to anuar zain ok..
5. plan to wear the same outfits with your officemates [X] ~ since i'm wearing uniform to work, change officemates to just friends..
6. sleep during the day, wake up early during weekend, run errands, be productive and then went back home and hit the couch. the feeling is almost the same as you came back to hostel after a long class. ~ i usually sleep in during weekend..
7. make plan for sunday night on saturday evening
8. sleepovers [X]
9. always having a crush eventhough you already had a boyfriend [X] ~ please scratch the 'had a boyfriend' part
10. learn the dance steps from britney spears songs. [X] ~ hohoho!!! it's exhausting, trust me! even most of the time, you just go your own way, making your own move..
11. eat 'milo' a.k.a the powder! [X] ~ yummy..
12. colouring (cartoon characters) with faber castell [X]
13. hit shops that sold fancy dress and put on a few long gowns ~ i'm short, in a nicer word, petite! hard to fit into those long dresses..
14. use trendy name you wish your parents gave you
15. play futsal, it's a million times more fun than running on a threadmill ~ please stop associating me with any sporty activities. the only sport i love is bowling, if that even considered a sport!

hot air balloon fiesta!

last friday, i took a day off to watch this hot air ballon fiesta at putrajaya. i even called my mom on thursday, asking her to come to putrajaya and joined me. it turned out that my dad was already planning to go to putrajaya that day! so after work on thursday, i went to ioi mall to watch the devil inside. the movie was really dissapointing! don't ever go and watch it, huhu... after the movie, i went to kak ala's house because my parents had already arrived.

i planned to wake up early on friday to queue and buy the hot air balloon ride ticket. i did wake up early but not as early as intended. i went to pick up my mom and we arrived there at about 9am. naturally, the tickets were all sold out! i know that the 'ride' would mean just hovering above the ground but i didn't know that it would be so low, about 20m. so, i cancelled my early plan to ride it.

before that, i already called my brother regarding the balloon ride. he asked me to bought the tickets for him and his sons. so, i queued again in thye evening. there were two session for the ride, one in the morning and the other one in the evening. the evening ticket will be sold on 5.30pm. i went there on 4.10pm and a very long queue had already formed. tickets were limited to 300 per session.

so watching the queue and doing some calculation, it's more than 300 people already because one person can buy up to four tickets. but, i still queue. and not long after i joined the long line, the organizer told us that the tickets were already sold up (they already count the people) and told us to come again the next day on 6am!! that's it for the hot air ballon ride, hehe...

we went back to kak ala's house and accindentally we had a family gathering. everybody's there except for my sister (she's in london) and her husband (working) and alif (left at home with putri). kak ala bought sate, mee hoon sup, roti john and cendol. yummy! that's all for now, until later...

world kidney 2012 update

as you can see, we managed to get medals and that naturally means we managed to finish the race successfully. by receiving the medals, we also are on the top 200 of our fun run category. it's quite an experience, running in kl without any traffics. oh, an d to make things clear, i didn't run all 5km. i think i ran only about 1.5km and walked the other 3.5km, hehe.. after the run, we went to jusco cheras selatan or i would prefer to call it jusco balakong. had lunch and karaokeing for 4 hrs straight, huhu.. and the best thing is, i didn't go to work the next day. aches all avor the body since i'm not the sporty time.. that's all for now, bubye...

it finally arrived!!!

argh, finally the email i dreaded all this time had finally arrived! and the best thing is i haven't read it yet because i don't want to know what the content is. the email is non-other than the email from my thesis supervisor. for your information, i haven't submit a single thing to her. so, i do expect and know that she will email me sooner or later enquiring about my progress. ever since her last email last month, i'm afraid to check my inbox because i'm afraid that she will scold me or something like that for not submitting a thing. honestly, i haven't started yet! i'm still waiting for the 'vibe' or 'mood' to arrive. i think i felt a itsy bitsy tiny vibe when i saw her email just now, huhu... so, i think i will definitely start doing my thesis from now to avoid any unwanted consequences!

ps: i don't have the gut to read her email yet.. maybe later, huhu... currently, i'm waiting in front of the television for the final episode of malay drama series, aishiteru... it seem that, somebody hasn't learned her lesson yet! :p
