funny, couldn't sleep at night...

haha, unbelievably funny finding myself couldn't sleep at night. usually, i have no problem sleeping either at noon or at night. but lately i find myself having trouble sleeping at night. i slept all right but then i kept on waking up. haha, to make things worse, everytime i woke up, i would go to the kitchen amid the darkness (too lazy to switch on the lights), open the fridge and drink the bottled water. if i woke up 3 times, that mean 3 trips to the kitchen and back. luckily the kitchen is near. and then the song 'only human ~ k' played, it's time to wake up and i'll hit the snooze button, perhaps about twice. and from the setting of my phone, that'll be about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later from the intended time. luckily for me,  i am the type of person that can get ready in 15 minutes top! bed made and all... so, still manage to get to work on time.  and eventhough i know it's not healthy, i still need caffein to get my day started. or else i'm one terrible person people have to get on with. wihout caffein, i'm grumpy, sleepy and will probably act like a zombie. i love u nescafe...

back to school...

lately, i've been helping my niece and nephew with their homeworks because my sister was out station. both of them went to tanah rata public school. so, their syllabuses is different from malaysian schools. if i'm not mistaken they follow the UKs syllabus. so, everytime, i helped them, i have to read their books as well. the sister learned about world war I and II. well, i learned about the war as well but not as detailed as theirs. since i learned more about malaysia history, i knew only a little about world war I since malaysia was not involved. but by reading my niece's book, my knowledges on WWI has increased a lot, hoho... and then, their math. i found it a little confusing since they used words to describe things. for me math is all about numbers. example, they learned about possibility. so they used the words such as likely, certain, even chance, small chance, unlikely and impossible to describe the possibilities. as for me, i prefer the possibility to be described in percentage or fraction. i remember during my primary school years, i did my homework by myself. i only asked my parents or siblings when i encountered problems that i didn't understand. but now, i find that my nieces and nephews always do their homeworks with their parents. maybe, it's the trends nowadays. perhaps, when i have children on my own, i probably help them with their homeworks as well.

p/s : my sister's  maid said that, i'm more 'garang' when helping my niece and nephew with their homeworks compared to my sister (their mother), hehe... and i honestly believe, it is true!

me n lipsticks...

well, it's normal for any woman for having lipsticks for there are part of their life (make-up). so, i also have them but unfortunately, i rarely used them. i only wear lipstick on special occassions such as weddings (not mine), dates (which is less than 10) and err err...

despite rarely wore them, i still love to buy them. so, right now i have about six lipsticks and four lipglosses which one of the lipsticks and two of the lipglosses are birthday present from my sister. here is the list of my lipsticks and lipglosses :

the reason i rarely wore lipstick because i find it a little time constraining. so, i choose to stick with colorless lipbalm to keep my lips moisturize. if i think carefully, the number of lipsticks that i actually finished is three. hoho, some of the lipstick in the list may have been expired because they said that lipstick is usually good for one year. hopefully, nothing will happen to my lips when i kept wearing them because i lose track which one of them will expired first.

p/s : things in my make up pouch that i successfully finished ; compact powder, blusher, mascara and eyeliner. still, it took me longer than average people to finish it...

50th entries, wow!!! ^o^

hye there! this is my 50th entries. i started this blog in 2007. and after 4 years, i've only written 50 entries. and some of them cannot be count as entry since i just copied and pasted whatever i like, hehe.. but, still i've made it to 50 rite?! today is my sister, syahira 36th birthday. i've already given her present. and this sunday, we will be celebrating my nephew, danish's 6th birthday at mcdonalds bangi. i just celebrated my 28th birthday last 29 january. and on the 25th january was my sister-in-law, kak ani's 38th birthday. happy birthday to all of us.

last weekend, i went to hawa's house in kota tinggi for sujit's and sohar's wedding by bus. i think i've mentioned this in one of my previous entry. we planned to go to both sides, but then something unfortunate happened. hawa's uncle passed away and we went to attend his funeral at yong peng on saturday. we only went to sohar's reception on sunday. no photo's taken cause not enough times. my 'kampung' was flooded.

i just finished rick riordan's latest book, Heroes of Olympus : The Lost Hero. it took me quite a while to finish that book. it was interesting but lately i find myself, easily distracted from something i love to do. example, reading. i tried to read a few books recently, but never quite finished any of them. if not mistaken, i've tried to read 5 different books. it happened because i couldn't stick to one. let me make a list of those books :

hoho, all these books are interesting but as i've said before, i keep getting distracted for no known reasons. and this rick riordan's book in the only one i read till the very end and it still took me 3 days for usually i can finish it in just one day (non working day of course). and those 3 days are non working days, mind you. ermm, what is wrong with me? i even try to read something lighter such as comics, but still the same problem occur. i couldn't even finished one comic (which i usually done in 30 mins or less). well, enough of that. i just couldn't wait for the next installment of Heroes of Olympus titlled The Son Of Neptune. my guess is, the son of neptune is percy jackson but it'll only come out in autumn 2011. could hardly wait!!!
