sense of direction

Sometimes, i'm amazed by my own sense of direction. If i'm planning to go to a certain place, i usually end up at the total opposite direction of the place i intended to go in the first place. For example, yesterday i went to ikea. Getting there wasn't a problem at all since i've been there a few times before. But the way back is another story entirely.

Usually, when i went to ikea, i used the plus highway to go there and then LDP to get back to putrajaya. This time around, i wanted to try using the plus highway to go back instead. I think i made one early turn and guess where i ended up at? In front of the subang airport! On the bright side, i know what subang airport looks like these days..

I then followed a signboard to putrajaya, only to miss a turn and ended up at federal highway. In the end, i still use the LDP to get back. You might say that i should use the navi apps that are easily accessible this day. Well, i did used them and i still ended up lost! i couldn't follow the instructions well. when they say, turn left in 400m, i will automatically turn left immediately.

well, i always end up at the right place anyway. no matter how many wrong turns i made, no matter how many hours i took, how many petrols i used, alhamdulillah, i always find it in the end. i think that getting lost would give us a few good things such as knowing a new route, stumbling on a fantastic place that you would never know if you're not lost and the never give up attitude. this can be applied to life itself..

ps: another moral of the story is, don't ever ask me for direction unless you're really sure i'm familiar with the place you want to go.. otherwise, you'll be lost as well..
